Tennis Scoreboard
Professional tennis scoring with deuce, advantage, and comprehensive tiebreak system for singles and doubles matches.
How Tennis Scoring Works
Points: Tennis uses a unique scoring system: 0, 15, 30, 40, and game. Players must win four points and be at least two points ahead to win a game.
Deuce and Advantage: At 40-40 (deuce), a player must win two consecutive points. The first point gives advantage, and the next point wins the game. If the player with advantage loses the next point, it returns to deuce.
Sets: Matches are typically best of three or five sets. Sets are won by the first player to win six games with at least a two-game advantage.
Tiebreak: At 6-6 in games (except final set in some tournaments), a tiebreak is played. First to seven points with a two-point advantage wins the set.
Service: Players alternate serving every game. The server serves from behind the baseline and must serve diagonally to the opposite service box.
This scoreboard automatically manages all tennis scoring complexities, including deuce/advantage situations, tiebreak calculations, and proper service alternation. Ideal for competitive tennis matches and tournaments.
