Badminton Scoreboard

Modern rally point scoring with automatic service rotation and set management for competitive badminton matches.

How Badminton Scoring Works

Rally Point System: Every rally results in a point, regardless of who served. The winner of each rally scores a point and gains the serve for the next rally.

Games: Games are typically played to 21 points. Players must win by at least a two-point advantage. If the score reaches 20-20, play continues until one player leads by two points.

Setting: At 29-29, the first player to reach 30 points wins the game (maximum score limit).

Sets: Matches are typically best of three games. The first player to win two games wins the match.

Service: Players serve from right service court when their score is even, and from left service court when their score is odd. Service alternates each rally regardless of who won the previous point.

Court Switch: Players switch sides after each game. In the third game (if played), players switch sides when the first player reaches 11 points.

This scoreboard handles all modern badminton scoring rules, including rally point allocation, automatic service position changes, and set management. Perfect for competitive badminton at all levels.
