Pickleball Scoreboard
Live side-out scoring with set tracking and automatic server rotation for recreational and competitive pickleball matches.
How Pickleball Scoring Works
Side-Out Scoring: Only the serving player/team can score points. If the receiving team wins a rally, a side-out occurs and serve passes to the opponent without awarding a point.
Game Points: Games are played to 11 points, and must be won by at least 2 points. Play continues past 11 until one player achieves a 2-point lead.
Sets & Matches: Matches are typically played as best-of-3 games (first player to win 2 games wins the match).
Two-Bounce Rule: After the serve, the ball must bounce once on each side before either team can volley the ball in the air.
Non-Volley Zone (Kitchen): Players cannot volley the ball (hit it in the air without bouncing) while standing in or touching the 7-foot kitchen zone near the net.
Service Court: In singles, the server serves from the right (even) court when their score is even, and from the left (odd) court when their score is odd.
This scoreboard manages official pickleball side-out scoring rules, set progression, and service tracking. Ideal for singles and doubles pickleball play.
